<b>Welcome to the Surf Beta!</b><br><br>Surf lets you build feeds around the social conversations and communities you care about. You can make a feed to follow a specific group of people, personal interests, sports teams, local news and more. By having feeds for different purposes, you can be more intentional about the time you spend on social media, diving into the conversations and content you want, not a feed controlled by someone else.<br><br><b>Get Started on Surf:</b><br>– Download the beta and sign up!<br>– Connect your Bluesky or Mastodon account to post, interact with others and follow sources you find.<br>– Design your Surf Timeline by adding sources like your Bluesky following list, Threads profiles, other Surf feeds, podcasts and YouTube channels.<br>– Create Custom Feeds for your interests or communities with the Create Feed button in the Sidebar.<br><br><b>A couple cool features:</b><br>– Go to Settings to set filters for your feeds. For example, you can keep a feed on a specific topic and reduce posts that you’re not interested in.<br>– Moderate your feed using the three-dot menu next to posts and you can exclude profiles, topics and more.<br>– Add a #hashtag to a topic to see conversations happening across the social web. For example, if you’re a football fan you can add the #NFL (or even your favorite team’s #) to your feed as a source. Posts from Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads that use the hashtag will all show up in your Surf feed, uniting your community across platforms!<br><br>With Surf set up, you’ve got your own social media experience and can dive into what you want, when you want it. And, since you’re here early, you can make some of the first feeds for others to discover and follow. The next wave of surfers will appreciate you testing the waters!<br><br>Ready to Surf?
