The PlayXO: TicCraft

This app transforms classic tic-tac-toe into a flexible sandbox where the rules are determined by the player. Instead of a fixed board and two symbols, the user gets a constructor that allows them to create their own game variations—from quick mini-games to complex strategic battles on large grids. The main idea is freedom of customization. The player assembles a match as a set of parameters: board size, number of players, pieces, victory conditions, and even visual style. Each created configuration is saved as a separate setup, which can be returned to at any time. This makes the app simultaneously a game, a collection of modes, and an experimental laboratory for tactical duels. Game Creation The creation screen is an intuitive constructor: The user enters a mode name—they can create their own tournaments, challenges, or themed games. Board sizes range from a compact 3x3 to large grids up to 12x12. Large boards transform the game into a strategic puzzle. The game supports up to 4 players. Each player receives their own slot, where they can choose a unique piece from a set of generated symbols. This creates a visual identity and simplifies the multiplayer experience. The victory condition is manually configured: how many pieces must line up to win. You can create quick 2-match games or epic marathons. The background can be selected from a set of dynamic or minimalist themes that set the mood of the game. Main Screen The main screen is a library of created modes. The player sees their setups as cards and can instantly launch any saved game. The app encourages experimentation: different modes can be stored as a collection of favorite rules. Gameplay During a game, the board and the players' active pieces are displayed. A highlight indicates whose turn it is. The turn order can be changed simply by rearranging the pieces, allowing for flexible balancing before the start of a round. An instant restart button is located at the top for a quick new game. The gameplay remains simple and straightforward, but the variety of rules transforms the familiar mechanics into a full-fledged strategy game for a group of friends.
